I know I’m allegedly a professional writer, but I’m not sure I’ll ever find the words to describe how last week felt.

Over 500 of you registered for the launch webinar. I saw over 100 of my family, friends, and neighbors in-person at the party. My home is full of flower bouquets.

We sold out on platforms like Bookshop.org, where every purchase went to supporting local bookstores. We somehow debuted on one of my least favorite global conglomerates (and the world’s biggest bookseller) as a β€œ#1 New Release” in β€œEnvironmental Economics".

And by the time you open this email, I haven’t a clue how many people will have this book β€” that was not long ago a bunch of Google Docs and unorganized iPhone notes β€” in their physical possession.
