2 weeks ago was one of the best community gatherings of my life

It was the book launch party for The Financial Activist Playbook at the one-and-only Kinfolx, Oakland.

And it was the sweetest, most powerful cross-over episode one could imagine: over 110 people from all areas of my life journey, in one beautiful room. I’m talking

• 🌁 my dearest Bay Area friends, family, and neighbors;

• 💸 values-aligned social impact investors and community organizations;

• 🛬 people who flew in from the literal opposite coast (including my parents);

• 🛍️ small business owners, vendors, and artists that I’m obsessed with;

• ✊🏽 and financial activists repping every generation, class background, and walk of life.

I’m so grateful for the wealth that is my community.
