I left my full-time job/‘stability.’ Now what?

I’m learning that life is about seasons.

And personally, this season has felt — to borrow from Kendrick Lamar Duckworth & Lefty Gunplay— crazy, scary, spooky, hilarious.

Tis I, 2025. Thank you Jamie Borschuk for inviting me to be photographed for this Women in Finance series!

This season has also felt stunningly, humbly human.

Some of you may know I’ve spent the last 6+ years with the registered investment advisory firm Candide Group, supporting families, foundations, and others to invest in social justice-focused companies, funds, and organizations building a new economy.

As Director of Impact, I had the incredible privilege to spend a good chunk of my 20’s learning about the world of impact investing, private capital, impact data collection and analysis, and truly so much more.

For years while holding down my FT role, my creative work of writing, publishing, and sharing resources related to The Financial Activist Playbook has been a nights-and-weekends type of labor of love…

…Until now 💖

Reinvesting myself in The Playbook book tour 🪅

In addition to prioritizing some real spaciousness for tending to my health and my people —

I’m thrilled to be able to dedicate more of my time and energy to writing, events, and collaborations that bridge

🌱 Wealth-building + wealth-spreading
🌊 Activism + social change
💚 Personal + collective well-being (did you know I’m a certified Trauma of Money practitioner? Also a certified Sensitive Pisces. All the feels)

(Want the real-real? In this time of economic and political and cultural ~precariousness~… leaving full-time employment wasn’t exactly an easy decision.

But also, I feel unexplainably, absurdly blessed to be able to say “yes” to this new chapter of possibility. I wouldn’t be here without the support of my community, my savings, and, I’m pretty sure, the universe. So without further ado —)
